Cranbourne school has announced that its recent Ofsted inspection has judged the school to be Good with outstanding features.
Responding to the announcement, Maria Miller said: ‘My congratulations to everyone at Cranbourne on achieving a Good Ofsted result. Excellent education is a priority for parents, young people and employers in Basingstoke. Ofsted provides important scrutiny on how schools are performing and this result shows Cranbourne has achieved real progress’.
Cranbourne’s Ofsted inspection was rated as Good in terms of the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, while its leadership and management was designated Outstanding.
Under Headteacher Jane Aplin, Cranbourne has undergone a period of transformation, and have ambitious new plans for a community swimming pool and dyslexia unit.
