MP Maria Miller visited HHCR Basingstoke Community Radio at The Roger Morris centre in Eastrop. The station is an online radio station which broadcasts 24 hours per day 7 days a week.
The station plays a wide variety of music and covers local events , news, weather and sports.
Maria commented; “ It was great to meet with Graham, David and Charlotte and hear about plans for the future of the station. Radio is a great way of communication and it was good to hear that the station encourages different community groups to host shows. I wish the station all the best with their future plans and soon to be launched DAB service.”
