Basingstoke MP Maria Miller recently visited Westside Community Centre in South Ham and met with Community Centre Manager Nicky Blunden and Chair of the Community Centre Association, Deborah McDermott for an update.
Maria Commented; “It was great to meet with Nicky and Deborah and hear about activities at the Centre. The Centre provides a range of social and leisure activities for all ages from the pre-school to youth clubs, Pilates and lunches for the over 55s.The Centre also provides food parcels for those in need in the local area. The staff and volunteers ensure that Westside Community Centre is an integral part of the community and works towards improving the quality of life for local residents and building a strong community spirit.”
