Maria Miller MP visited Brighton Hill Community School to meet a group of Children from a Ugandan Orphanage. The school had raised £9000 to fly the children to the UK.
Maria met with the children who asked her a wide range of questions about life as an MP. They then sang for her.
Maria commented; "It was wonderful to visit the school and meet the children from Uganda. They were incredibly enthusiastic about their experience as part of the Brighton Hill School Community. Their questions demonstrated a real appetite to learn about how politics differs between Britain and Uganda. It was very uplifting to listen to their singing and see how much they enjoyed music. "
