Maria recently met up with Aecom’s Chief Executive for UK and Ireland, Patrick Flaherty and Managing Director John Tubman. Aecom is a multinational engineering company, providing design, consulting, construction and management services to a wide range of clients around the world. Its Basingstoke office is in the town centre.
Maria said: “I was pleased to hear more about Aecom’s business and the types of work that the 350 people based at the Basingstoke office are involved with. It’s clear that the skills of the workforce and the great road and rail links are key factors that make Basingstoke a good location for Aecom.”
“I have been talking to a wide range of businesses and other organisations locally about the possible impact on them of the UK leaving the EU, and I was very interested to hear Aecom’s thoughts on this too.”
